Today Myself and Rachael attended the AVA Projects Supporting Children Experiencing Domestic Abuse training and we found it very informative. The course covered exactly what the definition of Domestic Abuse is and the law, through to signs children and teens may display as well as how to approach them and what you could do to help/support them. The training lasted 3 hours and we would definitely recommend to any professionals who work with or around children.

This had an interactive group learning approach for all to get involved which made it very informative as there were many professionals form different agencies giving their personal feedback and experiences. It was also very interesting to hear some of the misconceptions that professionals still hold about domestic abuse, victims and perpetrators, showing just how valuable these training sessions are. Thank you Hannah and Clare!

Here is the link if you are a professional interested in the training AVA provide.
